I had several contractors come look at the site and give an estimate. They all seemed competent and had good ratings from Angie’s list. Each had a choice of materials that could be used that more or less fit the bill, but not exactly. Douglas definitely stood apart from the others. Not only did he suggest a paving stone that was exactly what I wanted, but he suggested modifying the design of the space to make it fit in better with the setting. We ended up coming up with space with a curved corner rather than a straight corner (which is what I originally proposed, and the other contractors were going to provide). It looks great!! I was originally concerned that the parking space would detract from the appearance of the property but it actually enhances it. I have gotten nothing but positive comments from family, friends and neighbors. Douglas’s talent and training in design, his commitment to doing a good job and pleasing the customer, and his enthusiasm for his work make a difference!

I have used Monteiro for landscaping projects on several occasions. Including one very big / heavy equipment project.

I have had nothing but great experiences with them, and am very happy with the process and the results. I will continue to use them for new projects, from landscaping to pavers.

One aspect I like is they will also just say no, if it is something they don’t do or can’t work on for a long time. I don’t feel like I get the run around or played games with.

I called for a one time snow plowing of my drive after a recent nearly 1 foot snowfall. Service was prompt and everything was explained beforehand along with a very reasonable price. Service and attention to detail and safety of my fixtures and lawn was superior. I highly recommend Monteiro and Sons. If you want prompt, professional, courteous and affordable snow removal then you want this team.

They do my Fall cleanup every year and always do an amazing job. I have a ton of trees and leaves and when they are finished the yard is spotless! They are very professional and responsive. I highly recommend them!
